“A Second Look, Luther’s Small Catechism”
Lenten Worship theme on Wednesdays in Lent at 7:05.
Many of us are familiar with Luther’s Small Catechism. As we celebrate 500 years of Reformation, we want to open Luther’s Small Catechism and take a second look as it speaks to faith in 2017. In Luther’s day the church was the interpreter and voice of God who told people what God said to them about faith, life and salvation. Luther wanted both the clergy and laity to hear the word of God. He translated the Bible into German so people could read it themselves and hear the precious word of God. He wrote the Small Catechism to help families better understand faith, salvation, and all that God gave in his grace. Contained within are the basics of the Christian faith.

love to one person at a time by sharing the sacraments and preaching God's
word. We believe that God has called you to join us in ministry. God gave each person a spiritual gift in Baptism that can be used to help others know the love of the Savior. We want to welcome you.
